Cannot connect Diablo Classic - USWest
by Instinctgaming | 10/04/2010 22:52:21![]() To whom it may concern, Hi, I woke up this morning and went to play Diablo II Classic on USWest. It gave me the error: "Unable to Connect. Unable to connect to battle.net. If you are using a modem, you may need to connect to your internet service provider before connecting to battle.net. For more information, please visit www.blizzard.com/sup My internet is obviously working. I can connect to ASIA and EUROPE. However I can't connect to USWest (where I play) or USEast. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing and re-updating the patch. I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, updating to patch 1.12a and then logging onto Europe and downloading the new patch in-game. I've tried running as administrator since I use vista. I've tried resetting my modem. I've run anti-malware, anti-spyware and anti-virus, restarted my pc, tried to repair internet connection, tried installing using a different CD-key, read through all the support FAQs and tried them, changed my internet options LAN settings. It was working fine all yesterday. Why isn't it working now? Can someone help me? I can't even connect to open battle.net to talk to live support. Nothing is working... Is there something wrong with my keys or account or IP? I have NOT spammed, used bots, used 3rd party programs, harassed a player, advertised or advertised a website. As far muling and switching between characters/accounts, yes I have, but again everything was fine as of when I left yesterday and on my first attempt this morning I was restricted from USWest and USEast which makes no sense I don't even play or have an account on USEast. I'd like to play and level up my character. Can someone help me? Sincerely, Kathoc [ Post edited by Instinctgaming ] |

It can happen for any of the following reasons: - Using an invalid CD key - Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net - Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs" - By the use of "add-on programs" - Chat channel abuse - Failed login attempts - In game latency caused by excessive spell effects We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection.
