Blizzard Emails

Gibson

I Get emails 24/7 from blizzard.
The address is usually noreply@Blizzard.com
And the subjects address account issues and cancellation notices.

Now my wow account was never closed etc, i was dealing with a support person on the phone a while back when my account was taken from me by someone i don't know and was used for a bad purpose, i was innocent and i was found innocent but i keep getting emails directly from blizzard still about it, and they are becoming SPAM in my email.

Any reasons for this?
I've gone into my account and changed my password several times for security cautions but i shouldnt have to do that everyday, As nothing is happening to it, i am able to log into the game fine, but currently am inactive cause i have not purchased more time.

Hi Gibson,

You're getting spam mails that have spoofed the email send-from address. You will want to check http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=25133

The sending email address can be spoofed. You may have to search the header to find the actual sender.

Scam emails can be forwarded to hacks@blizzard.com and the issues will be investigated by our hacks department.

Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing:
