Blizzard: Are you satisfied with BETA?

Some of current changes in SC2 during open beta testing seems very good, as I would suppose that it would take much longer to finally decide to nerf Reapers for just your own limited beta testers, or nerfing Mothership or other units that obviously are too much easy to get early game and can cause real mess.

But my question is this: Are you ok with current beta? Cuz pretty much all Z players says that T+P are overpowered, P players say same about Z+T and same for T players.

How hard is that to sort all this posts on beta forums, to decide which is just noob "my zealost just got *%@@d by mutalisks after 15 min of game - nerf zergs!" from real balance issues?

And arent you afraid of getting some players rejecting game even before actual release?

For me, I can see real balance benefits of this, but it also seems to be kinda dangerous for you... So what do you think about this?

We're quite satisfied with the beta test so far. Of course players will have disagreements on balance, but this provides us the perfect opportunity to really stress test the game using a much larger sample audience than we could internally. As you've seen from the first two patches, we've already made several adjustments that, prior to the beta test, might not have been fully considered.

Any competitive game will bring about a number of conflicting opinions or reports on how the game is currently balanced. This is still a very important part of the process and those testing are providing us with a very important number of statistics, reports, complaints, and everything else we need to take into consideration to make StarCraft II the most fun game possible. :)

As far as sifting through the forums goes, it's always helpful to read some passionate posts detailing accounts of potential issues with game balance, but when it comes to the beta test, there are a number of other tools we have for reviewing trends and statistics which are invaluable to us. You can expect to see more changes trickle in as the beta test continues and more testers are summoned to join in on the fun!

I'm not good in a crowd.
I got skills I can't speak of.
Things I have seen
Will chase me to the grave...
