Whenever I open up the game, it loads on the top left of the screen so that I only see the bottom right hand corner of the game. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It sounds like your monitor is not set up properly to display the resolution the game is trying to use.

Try using the monitor controls to move the picture so that it displays in the viewable area.
