Beta artifact bug and high gpu temps

Hello I recently started getting odd artifacs in starcraft 2 only.
for instance I could be playing a 2v2 and then see a huge black thick line for a second from top to bottom starting at the center of my screen to the bottom of the center.

I was having heating issues yesterday but I think it fixed its self but I'd like to report that as well.
When playing 1v1 or 2v2 matchs my heat on my XFX Geforce 285 gtx would reach temps of up to 168F even with the room temp at 65F and that was only in starcraft 2.
I tried Unreal tournament 3 and my temps with 20 bots at max settings was 120F then I jumped into starcraft 2 and instantly went to 168F when in a match.

When I was not in a match the idle temp was 140F.

The game recently fixed its self and now idle temps in starcraft 2 are 120 and high load are 130.

Please note the following.

PC specs

Xaric,

Can you also post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the first half of the dxdiag file (down to the "DirectShow Filters" section for Vista) into your reply.

Xaric,

Try installing the latest driver for your video card and see if that helps:
