The Diablo 3 Bestiary now features a new creature from the realm of Sanctuary: The Unburied!

From the writings of Abd al-Hazir:

"Something is dreadfully wrong. Fear is in the air; I can feel it. I was but days out of Tristram when I saw a screaming ball of flame rip across the sky. Surely enough, soon after witnessing this harbinger of doom, I stumbled upon a badly mangled traveler. He was barely able to spit out the tale of the cursed monstrosity responsible for his broken body as his life drifted away. He called his killer "the unburied"."

We've also expanded the media galleries with three new pieces of artwork and nine new screenshots.

But like I said in another thread: Where does the spikes come from? The human body normally doesn't have spikes. Especially not big ones. So...how are those spikes explained? :)

The Unburied is formed by the fusion of soil, rock, human bodies and angry souls. The spikes that jut from its body are shards of stone ripped from the earth during the development of the creature.
