"Always Connected"
by Akumapro | 16/02/2010 06:39:38![]() Does the "always connected" mean youll have to log into battlenet before you can play single player, aka offline mode? This question is both for diablo 3 and starcraft 2. Also, I notice in the following screenshots that there is a "play as guest" which doesnt require logging in. Assuming this is for playing single player without logging in, does this mean that features or content will be limited? Is this so pirated versions wont get the whole thing? But what about people who actually did buy the game and have troubles with their internet or dont have one? I feel very bad for those people, it isnt fair. As much as I'll most likely have a good internet going by then, it still isnt fair that some people out there wont enjoy their game as much. Dont say life isnt fair. Lots of people out there make it not fair. Anyways, here's the screenshot. http://image.com This screenshot shows the interface after you log in. Notice on the top left, single player and multiplayer. http://image.com |

In regards to StarCraft II, yes you can play single player offline after authenticating the game. |

While you don't have to authenticate every time I think there's some situations where you may be asked to re-authenticate. Like after a hardware upgrade. That's really a better question for the StarCraft II forums though. [ Post edited by Bashiok ] |
