NOR IS BLIZZARD ACTIVISION!

Yes Blizzard is owned by Activision, but Blizzard made it very clear when the news about the acquisition broke: Blizzard will be owned by Activition only by name. Activision will not control blizzard in any way, they will still effectively be completely separate companies. Proof of this can be seen in the fact that SC2 is not released yet. We all know how Activition often releases games before they are completely ready... If Activision where in control of Blizzard then SC2 would have been released probably 1-2 years ago.

Here is a quote from wikipedia also:

Q u o t e:
Activision and Blizzard Entertainment still exist as separate entities.[9] The holding company does not publish games under its central name and instead uses its subsidiaries to publish games, similar to how Vivendi Games operated before the merger.[10] The merger makes Activision parent company of Vivendi Games former divisions.
While Blizzard retained its autonomy and corporate leadership, other Vivendi Games divisions were not so fortunate.

Here is another article about this:

I'm just posting this because i've seen so many people talking as if Activition is sitting in background controlling Blizzard's every move.

What I was let do believe, each campaign will be as long as three campaigns in the first game. Now, I could be wrong, but that's just what I heard.

I can confirm that Wings of Liberty alone will include 29 missions.
The whole StarCraft 1 campaign included 30 missions, as you can see we didn't split a single game into three parts, we're just expanding the whole storyline to make it more epic!
