The game servers simply can\'t handle the increased load they\'d be put under if everyone was constantly bombarding them with new game creations. This restriction system, though not perfect, is what we\'ve come up with. Without it, you\'d be seeing game queues instead and likely waiting much longer before getting in games than you would be by waiting a little bit between them now. This system\'s been in place for many years now and it\'s not likely to change any time soon I\'m afraid. Reference drivers may affect the laptops ability to autoswitch with Optimus.<br><br>Generally, when I see this error in Diablo II, I recommend a full reinstall with the digital client(s) and emphasize that no addons (mods) be used at all.<br><br>The fact -w and -nofixaspect are working for you suggests a D3D issue still. Windowed mode forces the game into the DirectDraw (D2D) mode. So what I did was install the game on my old 10.6 mac and then transfer it to my new 10.7 one. It worked! However the game has some black spots in the main menu and all the submenus, including battlenet (Pics: http://imgur.com/a/e<wbr/>EtFa). This wouldn\'t be a problem, but this black spots also cover the game map, which as you can imagine, is a difficulty. Any help would be appreciated! </div> </div>]]></text>

This makes no sense..
